  1. Not always that way. We have lived in da U.P. 10 years now and this is the worst one for us and it didn’t start until January. We have actually had quite a few that were nicer than downstate. What you do here in the winter is you learn to do winter things, skiing, ice fish, sledding, snow shoeing, etc. Lots of neat things to do in the winter. Just learn to enjoy it.
