U.S. Navy frigate crew enjoys brief stop in Detroit while ship refuels

The ship will be back next month for Detroit’s Navy Week and a celebration of the War of 1812 Bicentennial, Sept. 4-10. Today’s visit was an overnight stop to refuel on the way to Toledo next week and Cleveland the week after for those cities’ Navy weeks. Full News here – freep
