Detroit police officer, husband found dead in Redford Township identified

Anna Hamilton-Barton, 50, died from multiple gunshot wounds and her death was ruled a homicide, said Mary Mazur, a spokeswoman for the medical examiner’s office. Shooting at Detroit’s Cinco de Mayo Parade leaves 19-year-old dead, cancels event

Witnesses said the shooting took place just after 1 p.m. in front of Brown’s Bun Bakery as people packed onto Vernor for the annual event.
